Leica Q2

Overview of Leica Q2

The 24-megapixel Leica Q was introduced in 2015 bringing an autofocus full-frame Leica option to a huge range of users (particularly eyeglass wearers or older users) who could never focus an M camera accurately. The Leica Q2 updates the camera with a sensor having twice the resolution, and various other improvements.

The Leica Q2 is sleek and beautiful, making for an excellent carrying camera for hiking or travel or similar, if the limitation of a fixed 28mm lens is acceptable. That is, the Leica Q is a special purpose tool, but not too special-purpose, and thus is likely to be well-loved by those users whose purposes it serves.

The EVF has been updated, but the rear LCD is the same size and resolution. WiFi and Bluetooth are onboard, but there is no GPS.
