Leica M11

Color Balance and Tint with Adobe Camera Raw, PROFILE M11 vs Adobe Color

This page looks at the impact of the camera profile used when converting Leica M11 DNG raw files in Adobe Camera Raw.

The oft-stated idea that “camera X has good color” is shown to have dubious merit unless all factors are equalized, which might be quite difficult. Simply changing the Camera Profile results in dramatically different results and even changing the color temperature precisely to match does not produce anywhere near the same rendition.

Example — Pumpkins in Sunlight
